What you'll do: Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and Express.js. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Implement and maintain database schemas and optimize queries (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in development and production environments. Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and beyond. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. What you'll bring: 2-4 years of professional experience in backend development with Node.js and Express.js. Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and asynchronous programming. Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL). Familiarity with version control systems (Git). Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Chai). Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth). Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Bonus points if you have: Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes. Familiarity with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka). Experience with real-time technologies (e.g., WebSockets). Contributions to open-source projects.
