Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Backend Development & Architecture: Leading the design, development, and implementation of complex backend services and APIs using Django and Python. This includes architecting scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Database Management: Designing and optimizing database schemas (primarily PostgreSQL) and writing efficient queries to ensure high performance and data integrity.
• API Development: Building and maintaining robust RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code. Participating actively in code reviews, setting coding standards, and promoting best practices within the team.
• Performance & Security: Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, optimizing application speed, and ensuring the security of our web applications against common vulnerabilities.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Working closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance, and mentoring junior and mid-level developers.
• Deployment & Operations: Contributing to the deployment process, monitoring application health, and troubleshooting production issues as needed.
• Continuous Learning: Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Django, Python, and the broader web development ecosystem.
